LEARNING ENGLISH & HAVING FUN

Summer holidays are for fun, but you’d like your child to do something useful too. What do you do?

One solution is to choose a Key English summer course, where children and teenagers will not only have lots of fun, but will really develop their English as well. For July and August, we will have 3-week courses at two hours per day, Monday to Friday, where our participants will get to practice their English language skills through a variety of enjoyable games and activities, while at the same time meeting new friends and developing their team-working skills by working in small groups.

This is an excellent opportunity for youngsters to properly practice the English that they learn at school and elsewhere, and the whole emphasis will be on spoken and written communication. We use direct immersion, which means English only is spoken during sessions, and no Romanian. While this may not be easy for everyone at first, they will get into the swing of things after a few days and will soon want to practice their English all the time! We would stress that this is the only way for anyone to develop their skills in any foreign language. We will of course, still deal with any issues that arise through the medium of Romanian.

Our courses involve learning through interactive, fun-focused materials and activities that have a serious learning purpose. These are designed to give participants exposure to English speaking cultures such as UK/Ireland, USA and Australia. They will feature the culture, tourist attractions, history and lifestyles – even the food – of these countries and societies.

 

FRENCH COURSES

We also offer French courses for children aged 12-16, which have the same features as the English courses described above – apart from the fact that our students will learn about French-speaking cultures: France (naturellement), Switzerland, and various French-speaking islands in the Caribbean and Pacific Oceans are all included.
